A wide, open bowl on a small turned foot. The bronze glaze fired to a soft metallic sheen: gold and pewter where the surface catches the light, dark iron tones where it falls away, with throwing lines still visible under the glaze. The interior holds the light in broad, brushed rings, with a scatter of small dark speckles that formed in the kiln. The foot is glazed through, so the piece sits with a quiet, complete finish underneath.
Thrown by hand and fired once to 1250 °C in oxidation. One of one.
