A hand-thrown stoneware mug finished in a deep bronze glaze, moving between charcoal, warm brown and muted metallic tones.

The surface carries natural variation from the firing, with subtle shifts in colour, texture and sheen that make C04 distinct. The handle is pulled and attached by hand, keeping the form simple and balanced.

Individually made and marked C04.

From the studio

Developed around the changing surface of iron and fire. The dark body moves from charcoal into bronze where the glaze catches more strongly, leaving each firing with its own pattern and tone.

Documented in the Matiass Preiss registry as № C04 — the piece’s permanent record of authenticity, held by the studio.
