A straight cup with a gentle inward curve above the foot. The green crackle glaze runs from a clear, bright jade at the rim to a deeper moss green where it thickens, and stops in a soft, uneven line above the bare stoneware foot. A fine crackle network covers the whole surface, most visible where the glaze is darkest. The rim carries a thin amber edge where the glaze thins over the clay.
Thrown by hand and fired to 1250 °C in oxidation. One of one; the maker's mark is stamped on the foot.
