A straight-walled jar with a domed lid and a small turned knob. The green crackle glaze moves from olive to moss down the wall, with flecks of gold caught in the surface and a fine crackle over the whole body. On one side a run of brighter bottle green pools toward the foot; the lid carries the same glaze and the same crackle.
The lid was thrown for this jar and belongs to it.
Stoneware, fired to 1250 °C in oxidation. Unglazed foot, stamped with the maker's mark and the serial C01.

Lidded jar C01. Thrown and glazed in the studio in Iceland. Deep green crackle glaze over stoneware, fired to 1250 °C in oxidation. The base carries the maker's mark and the serial C01; the lid was made for this jar and has stayed with it.
