A waisted cup with a flared rim on a narrow turned foot. The glaze is a quiet, matte ivory with a fine, almost stone-like texture, warming to straw and pale honey where it thins over the edges and the lower body. It is a restrained piece: no gloss, no crackle, only the form and the way the light sits on the surface. The interior is glazed and smooth. The foot is bare stoneware and carries the maker's mark.

Thrown by hand and fired to 1250 °C in oxidation. One of one.
